Scarecrows in the Garden
October 1 - 31
This annual tradition features wild and wacky creations by individuals, designers, local organizations and businesses throughout Atlanta. Weekends feature fun activities for families, including "Pumpkin Bowling" and fall crafts from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Free with Garden admission. 

Fest-of-Ale is on tap every Thursday in October, 5 - 10 p.m.  Enjoy extended Garden hours, a variety of seasonal beers and live music by Banjolicious. Bring a flashlight for nighttime viewing of the scarecrows. For the safety of visitors, the Children's Garden closes at dusk.

Goblins in the Garden, a children's costume party with pony rides ($4), the Ride-on Train ($2), tricks and treats, is Sunday, October 25, 1 - 4 p.m.

The Great Chefs of Atlanta Pumpking Carving Contest is Thursday, October 29, 7 - 8 p.m. Watch with glee as some of the cities finest gourmets gut and cut fantastic Halloween creations!
