Join a sensory exploration of the Garden! Parents and caregivers of young children are invited for this short interactive walking tour.

11 a.m. - noon

Bring out your inner artist and create, design and imagine colorful mosaic creatures. Using the Imaginary Worlds sculptures for inspiration, fashion magical mosaics of various artistic materials.

Wednesdays, April - October
10:30 - 11 a.m.

Listen to stories about bees, butterflies, frogs and flowers. Meet in the Children's Garden Amphitheater weather permitting or in the Turner Broadcasting Garden Theater during inclement weather. Storybook Time is for children accompanied by an adult.

Take a journey around the world with Scott Douglas as he showcases musical instruments created from plants through stories and music.

Hidden treasure awaits youngsters in the Garden! A search for something golden or sparkly begins in the Levy Parterre.

Wednesday, September 17
9 a.m. - noon

The Garden hosts an exciting day of tours and activities exclusively for homeschool groups and families. Supplement your life science, botanical and environmental studies curriculum by visiting a tropical rain forest, a desert house and a native pitcher plant bog. Tip-toe through the treetops on the Canopy Walk and observe edible plants in the Edible Garden. The Garden also has a 2-acre Children's Garden focusing on the interactions between people, animals and plants.

Join Itty Bitty Betty, she’s a honey of a bee, as you discover the importance of honeybees through entertaining stories told by Cathy Kaemmerlen. Catch the buzz on the power of pollinators.
